Banners
Banners area versatile tool used for a variety of purposes, including physical advertising for events and store promotions, as well as digital advertising on websites. They can be made from various materials like vinyl or mesh, and customized in terms of size, design, and hanging options.
How It Works
Design submission: You provide the print shop with your artwork, often as a digital file.
Artwork preparation: The shop may make adjustments or layout the design for their specific printing equipment.
File setup: The artwork is processed and prepared for the computer-controlled printer, ensuring correct colors and size.
Material feeding: A large roll of material, such as vinyl, is fed into the printer.
Printing process: The printer uses a roller-based system to print the design line by line, or a method like dye-sublimation for fabric banners, which transfers the image with heat.
Cutting: Once printed, the banner is precisely cut to its final dimensions using a plotter, which follows registration marks on the printed material.
Finishing: Additional finishing steps are performed based on the banner's intended use. This can include adding grommets for hanging, reinforcing edges, or other assembly.
